As a resident of the Treasure Coast, you have two very interesting and valuable cultural resources available to you in the Elliott Museum and the House of Refuge. The Historical Society of Martin County operates both of these Museums. Our mission is to enrich the community through a wide variety of exhibits, collections, classes, and lectures, all designed to serve the interests of the people who live in and visit the Treasure Coast.
These two cultural treasures cannot exist on admission fees alone. They depend upon donations to cover operating expenses to remain open. We are conducting our Annual Giving Campaign and we need your help. Our goal of raising $400,000 has been boosted by a $25,000 “challenge gift”. To receive this gift, we need to raise at least $25,000 from “first time donors”. Thanks to a generous lead gift, we have already raised nearly half of our goal.
May we count on your support? If you are a first time donor, we very much appreciate your help in meeting the challenge. If you are a previous donor, we sincerely thank you and ask for your continued support.
Think of all the good you can do by supporting our Annual Giving Campaign. Open your heart, take a deep breath, and say, “Yes! Count me in!”
